Ready to Build an Opt-in Page in Under an Hour? 🚀


Hey there, friends! 🌟 As someone who has been crafting stunning opt-in pages for the past five years, I’ve encountered numerous challenges along the way. One recent situation stands out to me and I think it’s an experience many of you might resonate with.


The Problem 😅

I was approached by a client who was eager to launch a Masterclass. However, there was just one issue – her website wasn’t ready yet. In today’s fast-paced digital world, waiting for a website to go live can feel like an eternity, especially when you have an excited audience waiting for your content. My client needed an opt-in page, and she needed it fast!

Instead of outsourcing the task to a costly professional, we decided to take matters into our own hands. After all, in a world filled with user-friendly tools, why not embrace our inner creators and build something ourselves?


The Solution 💡

In just under an hour, we built an opt-in page using two fantastic tools: Flodesk and Hoppy Coppy. I’m excited to share this simple yet effective method with you so you, too can create your own opt-in pages without being overwhelmed. And start signing up people for your upcoming event as soon as possible.





Get Started: What You Need


1. Flodesk

Flodesk is an email marketing platform allowing you to design beautiful emails and create landing pages without technical know-how. It’s intuitive and perfect for entrepreneurs and small businesses looking to make an impact without a massive investment in web development.


Creating an Opt-in Page with Flodesk

  1. Sign Up for Flodesk: If you haven’t already, sign up for an account. They often offer free trials, so you can explore the platform without any commitment.

  2. Choose a Template: Flodesk provides a variety of stunning templates. Browse through and select one that aligns with your Masterclass theme. Remember, your opt-in page should reflect your brand and engage your audience.

  3. Customizing Your Page:

    1. Add Branding: Incorporate your logo, brand colors, and typography to make it feel like home for your audience.

    2. Craft Compelling Copy: Clear, engaging copy is crucial. Remember to highlight the Masterclass’s offerings and why they’re valuable to your audience.

    3. Call to Action (CTA): Ensure you have a prominent and persuasive CTA that encourages visitors to sign up. Use phrases like “Secure Your Spot” or “Join Us Now!”

  4. Test Your Page: Before you go live, preview your opt-in page to ensure everything looks perfect. Make adjustments if necessary.



GROW YOUR COMMUNITY AFTER SIGN UP!

You can get people to sign up for your upcoming Mastermind, Challenge, or Workshop, but... you can also grow your community! In the FORM section, after you decide about design and copy, you have a THANK YOU page, and in the top right corner, you can add a link where people can go after signing up. That can be upgraded to a VIP option, or add your community link to nurture your audience! People will hang out with you a little bit longer and learn from you even before joining your event. 2. Hoppy Coppy

Hoppy Coppy is a powerful AI tool that streamlines your content creation process. It’s perfect for crafting email sequences, newsletters, and more – all in a matter of moments.



Creating an Email Sequence with Hoppy Coppy

  1. Sign Up for Hoppy Coppy: Similar to Flodesk, create an account and get familiar with the interface.

  2. Create Your Email Sequence:

    1. Decide on the number of emails you want to send out (1-5 is a common range for event reminders).

    2. Use Hoppy Coppy’s AI to generate compelling content for each email. You can specify the event details, and the tool will craft engaging messages that inform and excite your audience.

  3. Integrate Hoppy Coppy with Flodesk: Set up your email sequence in Flodesk by importing the emails created with Hoppy Coppy. This integration ensures a seamless transition from sign-up to communication.


Workflow Setup

Once you have your opt-in page and email sequence set up, it’s time to build a workflow in Flodesk to connect everything together.

1. Create a Workflow:

   - Log in to Flodesk and navigate to the workflows section.

   - Choose to create a new workflow and select the option for when someone subscribes or signs up through your form.

2. Adding Your Email Sequence:

   - Drag and drop your email sequence into the workflow. Schedule when each email should go out (e.g., immediately after sign-up, a day after, a week before the event, etc.).

3. Testing Your Workflow: Make sure to test your workflow by signing up yourself. This way, you’ll confirm that everything works as intended.
